Our latest intern was Geeske from Germany who came to learn about the UK property industry and to develop English as a second language. Below is her experience working for Callaways during the summer of 2010
Dear Callaways,
It was a pleasure for me to be able doing my internship at Callaways. Before, I had never expected to learn this much in such a short time! At the beginning everything was totally new for me, especially the business but also the language issues. After the 4 weeks I can say I have learned more from day to day. Everyone of the team was completely open- minded and friendly to me, even they were very busy.
The team works really hard and exemplary. They provided me an insight into their daily work which was truly interesting for me. More than anything else, the viewings with customers were really absorbing for me. I also enjoyed the tasks I had to do, i.e. answering the phone or putting some advertisements into the internet.
Although most of the time it was very busy, the colleagues spent a lot of time to illustrate their work to me. I got to know Callaways as a friendly agency which I will remember because of:
- brilliant service
- everyone is trying to do the best in every case
- really customer friendly
- a good team.
I was really happy to be part of the team at Callaways and it was a great experience for me.
To improve my English skills, it was the best place where I could get.
